Residential House at Jūras Street 2 Add an Object
Built around 1909, it is the most richly detailed and monumentally constructed wooden building in Jūrmala, which had its historical facade and interior restored in 1997. The attic floor features a belvedere, while terraces and pergolas with columned porticos on the ground floor enhance the artistic asymmetry of the building. The main facade showcases a medallion with a bas-relief portrait of a woman. The artist E. Krūmiņš created the lost medallion, using the portrait of the new owner of the house as a model. The interior of the building includes a fireplace and door casings.
