Ernest Glik Bible Museum
Located in the building of a trading pavilion built in the early 20th century next to the Aluksne Lutheran Church, the Ernest Glik Bible Museum was established in 1990. The museum's exhibition is dedicated to the first translation of the Bible into Latvian and its author, the pastor E. Glik (1652 - 1705). The museum displays editions of the Bible from 1694 to the present day, as well as sermon books and other samples of Christian literature.
