Pharmacy Museum Add an Object
The Pharmacy Museum was opened in 1987 as a branch of the Pauls Stradiņš Museum of the History of Medicine. It is located in a residential building that is an 18th-century architectural monument. The museum reflects the history of pharmacy and the development of pharmacies in Latvia. On display are documents and books from the 17th to 19th centuries, pharmacy vessels, signatures, forms of medicines, and equipment for their preparation, as well as medications produced in Latvia in the 20th-30th century and the present day.
