Glika Oaks
One of the rare cases when the precise time of planting such old trees is known. Both oaks were planted in 1685 and 1689 by Pastor Ernests Johans Gliks (1654 - 1705) of the Alūksne Parish, marking the fact that he completed the translation of the New and Old Testaments into the Latvian language.
