In this section, the vertical walls are 14-15m high. The northwestern wall slopes away from the river and reaches a height of 18m. The southwestern wall runs parallel to the river without changing its height. In total, the cliffs are 50m high, but a large part of it has eroded - a mass of landslides. At the point where the cliffs retreat furthest from the Gauja and approach it again, a huge clay landslide is visible. A small stream flows down here.
