Jānis Čakste Square
Jānis Čakste Square is the highest point in the city (approximately 11 m above sea level). Here, a memorial ensemble dedicated to Latvia's first president, Jānis Čakste, has been established, along with an illuminated fountain and a children's corner with swings and a small slide. A tactile map is also located at the edge of the square, near Rožu Street.
