Jewish Cemetery of Jaunjelgava City Add an Object

The Jewish cemetery of Jaunjelgava City was established in 1848 and covers an area of 2 hectares within the overall cemetery territory. In 1942, the Germans burned down the Jewish prayer houses and shot more than 500 Jews. The victims were buried within the cemetery territory, alongside the Jewish graves.
