Jēkabpils 330th Anniversary Memorial Stone Add an Object
The Jēkabpils 330th anniversary memorial stone is one of the cultural-historical objects in the city of Jēkabpils. Address: Brīvības Street 214. The memorial stone was brought from the city border and installed in 2000 during the 330th anniversary celebration of the city, "Jēkaba iela's 330th birthday", in Jēkabpils as a lasting historical symbol. The memorial stone is located in the former historical center of Jēkabpils, near the Holy Spirit Orthodox Monastery, at the place where on February 12, 1670, Duke Jēkabs proclaimed the city as established. In celebration of the 330th anniversary of the city, the city's historical flag was also restored and the city's anthem, "Song about Jēkabpils", composed by G. Zilvers, was played for the first time.
