Jelgava Palace Add an Object
Jelgava Palace is a palace in Jelgava. It is located on the right side of the Riga-Jelgavahighway on a narrow peninsula between Lielupe River and its tributary Driksna. The renowned Russian court architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli (1700-1771) built the palace which is one of the few surviving Kurzeme-Zemgale Duchy (1562-1772) capital buildings, preserved from the city that was destroyed in 1944.
