Jelgava Palace Park Add an Object
The Jelgava Palace Park features romantic canals, bridges, several palace buildings, and the Governor's Island, making it one of the most beautiful parks in Jelgava. The park is adorned with majestic trees such as horse chestnuts, oaks, and silver birches. In 1971, a beautiful tradition was established at the Latvian University of Agriculture (LLU) - on their first day of studies, newly admitted students plant a sapling in Jelgava Palace Park, enriching the park and immortalizing the beginning of their student life. A capsule with a message for future generations is placed under the tree's roots.
