Jomas Street Add an Object
Jomas Street is one of the main and oldest streets in Riga's Jurmala, which has undergone various changes and transformations over time. The division of the first plot of land and the formation of the main street in Majori began in the 19th century, in the 1860s and 1870s - even before the construction of the railway line. Around 1850, in the area now occupied by Juras Street, Jomas Street, and Lienes Street, there was a difficult-to-access, wet forest where livestock was grazed.
