Art Nouveau Add an Object

Liepāja can boast of examples of Art Nouveau architecture on a European scale, primarily in the form of national romanticism and stately Art Nouveau buildings, which harmoniously blend into the city's architecture. To this day, preserved are residential houses, apartment buildings, a theater, schools, a market pavilion, and office buildings. The majority of Art Nouveau buildings can be seen on Graudu Street, as well as on Dzintaru and Liepu Streets, and elsewhere in the city. Many of the buildings have well-preserved interiors, grand wooden carvings adorning the staircases, and painted stairwells.
