Cultural Heritage Center "Tīnūži Manor" Add an Object

Tīnūži is a village in the Tīnūži parish of Ikšķile municipality. Tīnūži is gradually becoming a recognized tourist destination, offering both natural beauty and a presence of history. 

The cultural heritage center "Tīnūži Manor" in Ikšķile municipality is located in a barn built in the early 1930s, and its main exposition is dedicated to the battles of Latvian riflemen near the Mazā Jugla river in 1917. "Tīnūži Manor" was opened at the end of 2012. The goal of the heritage center is to promote the preservation of Latvian cultural heritage, stimulate public interest in it, and reflect the events of Latvian history and culture, including a range of activities for different generations and enthusiasts - from traditional cultural events to battle reconstructions.
