Dauderi Cultural Museum Add an Object
The museum building was constructed in 1897 as the family villa of Adolf von Bingner, the owner of "Waldschlösschen". It was surrounded by a park designed by Georg F. F. Kūfalt. In 1936, the villa was separated from the territory and in September 1937, it was handed over to the State and Minister President Kārlis Ulmanis as a summer residence. In 1990, the Latvian Cultural Museum ''Dauderi'' was established, based on the collection of Latvian cultural patron G. Graudiņš. In January 2010, the Latvian Cultural Museum ''Dauderi'' was incorporated into the Latvian National History Museum as a department.
