In order for the residents of Pārupe to reach any of the other parts of the town, they can simply cross the Rūja river, but it is better to use the bridges. Valdemāra Street's sturdy reinforced concrete bridge connects Pārupe with Centrs, while the residents have the convenience of the Laipas footbridge for a shorter route to school, church, and Kalnkrogs.
