Meadows of the Lielupe River Floodplains Add an Object

The natural meadows of Palieņi, which are located on the banks of the Lielupe River, before and opposite Jelgava (divided by a dam), are an important protected area for the life of many endangered plant species, bird nesting, and migration. The meadows are managed and maintained to support the habitat of wild animals. There are also plans for a bird observation tower in the future.
