Liepaja Olympic Center Add an Object

March 17, 2007, is a significant date for the residents of Liepaja and visitors to the city who enjoy sports and cultural events. It was on this day that a capsule was placed in the foundations of the future building, in the presence of the Liepaja City Council, members of the Latvian Parliament, ministers of the Latvian government, the leadership of the Latvian Olympic Committee, as well as builders and athletes. On August 2, 2008, Liepaja Olympic Center was opened - a new, ambitious, and modern building that has been attracting both sports and culture enthusiasts for years.
