Art Academy Add an Object

The Art Academy of Latvia (AAL) (English: Art Academy of Latvia, German: Kunstakademie Lettlands, French: L'Academie des beaux arts de la Lettonie) is a higher education, scientific research, art, innovation, and cultural institution in Riga, located at 13 Kalpaka Boulevard. It was founded on August 20, 1919, thanks to the initiative of its first rector, Vilhelms Purvītis, to establish the highest art education institution in Latvia.
