Manege Add an Object
The Manege was built in 1903-1904.
The building had a lightweight, trussed metal structure and a roof covered with slate.
The interior of the hall was quite modest - a folding stage and simple stairs, the floor covering - chipboard. Before World War I, cavalry horse demonstrations and equestrian agility competitions were held in the Manege on Sundays. The Manege also hosted official receptions and ceremonial dinners for the military. The Manege building suffered significant damage during World War II, when it burned down and the roof structures were completely destroyed.
