The "Meteorite Crater" sparks great interest in people, as this object is like an unsolved mystery. Is it the result of a meteorite explosion or a natural formation?
An unusual natural formation, a round pit with a small wave in the northeast. It could have formed in the same way as all the other sand dunes and gravel during the Ice Age, with water washing through crevices in the glacier, or it could be the result of a cosmic origin - a meteorite explosion. The depth of the crater-like pit is 11m and the diameter is 85m, creating a slope ratio of 1:7 - 1:8, which is characteristic of explosion-type meteorite craters. Geological drilling in the central part of the crater reveals strongly mixed rocks, but research has determined that this crater-like pit could have formed by melting of the Quaternary glaciers, therefore the hypothesis of a cosmic origin is not confirmed.
