Mores Battle Museum Add an Object

Mores Battle Museum is located in the village of Mores, at 'Kalna Kanenos'. It is established on the site where battles took place between Latvian Legionnaires and Soviet Army soldiers from September 26th to October 6th in 1944, during World War II. The museum houses the graves of fallen Latvian Legion soldiers as well as the graves of Soviet Army soldiers. There is also the Mores Battle Memorial Park nearby, which includes a memorial stone, inscriptions, bunkers, a battlefield, and a memorial plaque.

The museum offers an exhibition on war themes, showcasing ancient household and artisan objects, weapons used in World War II, awards, uniforms, and accessories. Outside the museum premises, there is a Soviet T-34 tank and other types of military equipment.

The museum also provides a recreational area with tables and a garden fireplace.
