Ojārs Vācietis Memorial Museum Add an Object

The Ojārs Vācietis Memorial Museum houses a collection of 20,279 items, including the poet's personal belongings, manuscripts, poetry notebooks, notebooks, letters, photographs, books, writing tools, typewriters, snowshoes, and many other interesting objects. Some of this can be seen by visitors in the Poet's Memorial Rooms, while the rest is stored in the museum's collection.

The mission of the museum is to provide visitors with knowledge and understanding of Ojārs Vācietis and his time, as well as to collect, preserve, and research the material and spiritual values that characterize the poet's creative process and the cultural history of Pārdaugava, which was close to him.
