Monument to Rainis Add an Object
It was unveiled in 1957 and is located in Rainis Park. The monument was created by sculptor Kārlis Zemdega. The monument is dedicated to the Latvian folk poet Jānis Rainis, who lived and worked as a lawyer's assistant to Andrejs Stērste from 1891 to 1897 in Jelgava.
