City Fountain,
From 1987 to 1988, fountain basins were built. After seven years of neglect, in 1994 it was decided to install a fountain in the basins, and in 2002 the third and most comprehensive fountain with three water jets was built. The new part of the Balozhi city called Titurga can take pride in an architectural creation - three open-air pools, built more than one and a half meters deep. The city's designer, Lauma Pommere, suggested creating paid swimming pools for the summer seasons. However, this would also require auxiliary rooms with showers, fences, as well as regular water changes, which would amount to thousands of cubic meters in each of the pools. Since that would have been an expensive endeavor, the members of the Balozhi City Council agreed to the idea of converting the two side pools into flower beds and transforming the central one into a fountain.
