Pinacoteca Add an Object

A simple volume, transparent and attractive facade reflecting birch trees, a flexible and versatile space equipped with modern engineering designs. Pinacoteca is an exhibition and office building located on the outskirts of Riga, in fact, in the Mārupe parish, it gained wider attention when the annual art exhibition Autumn 2009 took place there.

The building is designed for various types of exhibitions, office space arrangement, meetings and small conferences, and their related functional needs. Taking into account the limited land plot conditions, the project sought opportunities to fully utilize the above-ground area for construction and parking spaces, creating a sunken outdoor space and compensating for the lack of greenery at ground level with a rooftop terrace.
