Memorial Museum of Vilis Plūdonis - House "Lejenieki" Trail Add an Object

In 1959, Vilis Plūdonis' ancestral home in the village of Ceraukste, Bauska district, was included in the list of memorial houses and underwent extensive renovation to preserve it from deterioration. Visitors are welcome to explore the poet's residence, where they can familiarize themselves with his literary works and the interior of the house. In the workshop, they can view a collection of wheels, while in the barn, they can see agricultural tools and equipment. Young visitors are greeted by the "Bunny Sauna" and a playground. Visitors can take a walk along the Plūdonis Trail. Nearby is the cemetery where the poet and his relatives are buried.
