Ragakāpas Nature Park Add an Object
Ragakāpa is a typical formation created by the wind and is one of the highest dunes in Latvia - 18.2 m. Ragakāpa is a result of the wind's action, transforming an 800 m long and 100 m wide dune wave. The nature park is home to very old pine stands, with an age of approximately 340 years, as well as rare plant and bird species. The nature park features four separate trails - Nature View Trail, Insect Trail, Pine Trail, and Plant Trail.
The trails are equipped with viewing platforms, stairs, benches, informative signs, and information boards.
