Raiņa Park Add an Object
Raiņa Park is a beloved recreational spot for the residents of Jelgava. The park is home to Jelgava Children and Youth Center 'Junda'. It was opened in 1948, and in 1957, a bust of the Latvian folk poet Rainis, created by the sculptor Kārlis Zemdega, was installed in the park. Rainis had worked as a lawyer in Jelgava for a few years.
