Monument to Rainis Add an Object
Monument to Rainis is a monument to the Latvian poet Rainis.The monument was unveiled on September 11, 1965, during the first Poetry Days. The architect of the monument is Dzintars Driba, and the project was implemented by sculptors Laimonis Blumbergs and Aivars Gulbis. The central event at the Monument to Rainis is the poetry readings during the Poetry Days.
