In the early 20th century, there was a summer house here, which later burned down. In its place, a single-story trading house was built, which in the 1930s housed the warehouses of the "Iļģuciems" brewery, in the 1950s - a grocery store, and then a beer bar called "Sencis". In 1996, the building was reconstructed and a restaurant was set up there.
