Riga Cultural Center "Iļģuciems" Add an Object

Riga Cultural Center ILĢUCIEMS was founded in 1973 when the construction of a trade and domestic services complex was started in Iļģuciems. At that time, there were already many residential buildings in this microdistrict and the number of residents was rapidly increasing. As the distance from Iļģuciems to the city center was quite far and there were no cultural institutions nearby, the district administration decided to allocate a part of the complex for cultural needs.
