Riga Motor Museum is a museum in Riga and is the largest vintage car museum in the Baltic States. The museum was founded in 1989 at the initiative of the Latvian Antique Automobile Club. The museum is located in the eastern part of Riga Mezciems, S. Eizenstein Street 6, near theBikernieki racetrack. The Motor Museum collects, preserves, restores, and popularizes vintage vehicles as part of Latvia's and the world's industrial heritage and material culture. The Riga Motor Museum was established in 1989 on April 22 following the initiative of the Latvian Antique Automobile Club and its leader Viktors Kulbergs. It was housed in a specially designed building for the museum's needs. The architect of the museum building is Viktors Valgums.
