Lake Titurga
Lake Titurga is located in the middle part of Baloži city. The area of Lake Titurga is approximately 12 hectares. Its depth ranges from 5 to 18 meters. It flows into the Sausa Daugava in the Daugava River basin. The lake is dominated by peaty, overgrown shores. The lake is home to pike, tench, bream, as well as crucian carp. The name of Titurga Lake is also derived from a part of Baloži city - the name Titurga.
