Tukums Art Museum Add an Object

Tukums Art Museum is located in the former bank building in the historic center of Tukums, which has preserved many historical testimonies. The museum itself has been in this building since 1997 and features an excellent art collection that includes works by Leonīds Āriņš, Jānis Rozentāls, Vilhelms Purvītis, Valdemārs Tone, and other artists.

The museum organizes exhibitions by professional Latvian artists, highlighting various aspects or themes of the artists represented in the collection. By special request, the collection of artworks, which includes over 500 paintings and 200 graphics, can be viewed on-site.

For those who cannot visit in person, the museum offers a virtual exhibition "Tukums Museum Through Time," where you can explore the museum's history as well as the painting collection. You can also create your own individual postcard electronically using fragments from the collection. The museum can be more than just a viewing experience. Visitors are invited to participate in the creative workshop program "Let's Paint Together."
