Ulmanis Hill

On September 7, 1935, the famous Baldone resort and sulfur spring were visited by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia at the time, Kārlis Ulmanis. During his visit to Baldone, on a hill near an oak tree, K. Ulmanis addressed the people. The oak tree still grows there today, and there are stairs with a memorial stone next to it.

The memorial site is located in the park of the Baldone sanatorium, on the right bank of the Ķekaviņas River, opposite the café "Pie Kriša".
