Valmiera Drama Theatre Add an Object

Valmiera Drama Theatre is the only professional theatre in Valmiera and the entire Vidzeme region. Its origins can be traced back to 1919 when Valmiera Council Theatre was founded. After World War II, the theatre was named Leons Paegle Valmiera State Drama Theatre and was led by Pēteris Lūcis. Several significant productions have been staged in Valmiera Theatre by directors Oļģerts Kroders and Māra Ķimele. Currently, the theatre is managed by director Evita Sniedze.
