Valmiera District Research Museum Add an Object
In the ancient center of Valmiera - on the castle grounds, you will find the Valmiera District Research Museum. The museum complex consists of eight 18th-21st century buildings constructed and reconstructed on the territory of the castle ruins. They house exhibition halls, collections, a reading room, and the museum administration. The museum was founded in 1959.
