Ziemeļblāzmas Park Add an Object
Ziemeļblāzmas Park was created in the early 20th century according to the vision of the prominent industrialist and patron Augusts Dombrovskis. It was designed as a dendrological park with a unique variety of plants and trees on a 5.4 ha area. It is the only park in the Vecmīlgrāvis area with long-standing traditions of hosting various celebrations and events, with a viewing tower that is currently unsafe to use, and with one of the largest and oldest black locust trees in Latvia, as well as the only specimen of a wig tree in the territory of the city of Riga.
