Blue Mountains Add an Object
The Blue Mountains are part of the Ogre Great Kangaru Ridge. The Blue Mountains are located in the territory of Ogre and Ikšķile districts.
Since 2004, the nature park 'Ogre Blue Mountains' has been a specially protected natural area. The majority of the park's territory is occupied by coniferous forests on eight - wave-like ridges, which are part of the Great Kangaru Mountains.
Visitors to the Blue Mountains have access to well-equipped swimming areas near the Dubkalns reservoir, excellent hiking and cycling trails in summer, and a 10km long cross-country skiing track in winter.
