A Youth Sports Festival “Try Different Sports and Find the One for You!” Will Take Place in Tukums

On 11 October 2025, from 12:00 to 19:00, at the Tukums Sports Hall the youth sports festival "Try Different Sports and Find the One for You!" will take place. It is organised by the physical activity promotion initiative “Esi kustībā” in cooperation with the Tukums Sports School and with the support of Tukums Municipality.

The aim of the festival is to encourage young people to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle by offering them the opportunity to discover various sports and find the physical activities that suit them best. The event will feature a positive and inspiring atmosphere where young people can gain motivation to lead an active life and understand the importance of sport in everyday life.

More than 500 young people aged up to 16 will have the opportunity to participate in the event. Each participant will be able to try different sports, watch demonstrations, meet well-known athletes and find the physical activity that suits them best. In addition to the sporting activities, there will also be concerts featuring performances by well-known young Latvian musicians and artists, creating a festive atmosphere for all participants.

“Our aim is to give every young person the opportunity to find a sport that truly inspires them and to promote long-term engagement in physical activity,” the event organisers emphasise.

Athletes, sports clubs and companies wishing to participate in the event by representing their sport or providing financial support are invited to contact the organisers. This is an excellent opportunity not only to promote your sport, but also to gain valuable experience by working with young people!
