Exhibition "Personal Route" by Agate Apkalne at Liepaja Museum

From January 11 to March 3, a collection of works by Latvian artist Agate Apkalne, titled "Personal Route", will be on display at the amphitheater of Liepaja Museum. The exhibition showcases a series of paintings created in Liepaja, specifically at the Karosta Water Tower during the Art Festival.
The exhibition features large-scale paintings predominantly depicting railway cars that once traveled the route with the graphic representation "Liepaja - Новополоцк". Various techniques, such as dry brush, flow, and stencils, will be observed.
Agate Apkalne studied art at Riga School of Applied Arts (now Riga Design and Art School) and the Graphic Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts, where she graduated in 2005, obtaining a Master's degree in art. The artist has been participating in exhibitions since 2000.
The exhibition at Liepaja Museum will be open from January 11, 2024, to March 3.
