Spring encourages active holidaymakers to spend time outdoors. To enjoy the thrill of competition, get moving and experience positive emotions, Ventspils Adventure Park invites families, groups of friends or classmates to enjoy a game of paintball or lasertag.
Paintball and lasertag are exciting team games played on a specially designed field with multiple obstacles.
The two games differ in the equipment used during play. In paintball, players use paintballs, which are fired from a paintball marker and used to hit opponents, whereas lasertag is gentler, with opponents being hit only by a laser beam.
Paintball players must wear special equipment to protect themselves from injury. Each player is provided with a set of equipment consisting of a paintball marker, camouflage clothing, a face mask and 100 paintballs. An instructor explains the paintball rules and supervises the game. Paintball is available to participants aged 12 and over.
The equipment required for lasertag is lightweight and non-injurious, so children as young as 5–6 can also participate. Each player is given their own blaster, which weighs approximately one kilogram and is made of durable plastic. Players also need a headband that detects shots fired by opponents. As in paintball, players are divided into two teams that compete against each other by completing missions and tasks set by the game instructor.
Paintball and lasertag have become popular activities among groups of friends and schoolchildren. The thrilling games are also suitable for birthday celebrations, bachelor parties and corporate events—to strengthen team spirit, have fun and, most importantly, spend active time together.
We would also like to remind you that visitors to the Adventure Park can climb to the top of the hill every day, see the red deer sculpture, use the binoculars and enjoy views of the city from above.
School groups can already book a visit to the Cat Trail and use other Adventure Park services.
