More Benefits with a Jūrmala Resident Card

  • More Benefits with a Jūrmala Resident Card

Published: 11.02.2019 Add Events

Currently, all Jūrmala residents with a Jūrmala Resident Card can travel on city buses free of charge. Very soon, by presenting their Resident Card, they will also be able to receive various discounts and benefits offered by businesses in Jūrmala.

In December last year, the Jūrmala City Council decided to conclude cooperation agreements with businesses to provide benefits and discounts to users of the Jūrmala Resident Card. Businesses in Jūrmala could offer discounts on various entertainment events, health-improvement services at medical and leisure facilities, catering services at cafés, and other benefits. The amount of the discounts and benefits will be determined by each business.

It is also planned that, over time, municipal institutions may provide residents with various benefits for receiving a range of services.

Information about the offers—in the newspaper and on the website

The first offers from cooperation partners are expected to become available to users of the Jūrmala Resident Card at the end of February, when the cooperation agreements on granting benefits have been concluded.

Current offers will be available in the “Jūrmala Resident Card” section, so we invite residents to follow the latest information about current offers. We will also provide information about them in future issues of the municipal publication “Jūrmala Avīze”.

We invite businesses to offer benefits to Jūrmala residents

We encourage businesses in Jūrmala to get involved and offer Jūrmala residents additional discounts and benefits. Businesses interested in cooperation opportunities and offers are invited to contact the Jūrmala City Municipality by writing to uznemeji@jurmala.lv.
