This year’s “DNB Stipro skrējiens” launched with a historic run in the European Union’s tallest tower
For the first time in its history, “DNB Stipro skrējiens” will take place this year at the Zelta Zirgs recreational and sports complex in Ķegums, thus offering participants a more modern environment and higher-quality services. This year, special thought has also been given to the youngest enthusiasts, with a special course being offered for children. Meanwhile, starting on 12 February, everyone taking part in “DNB Stipro skrējiens” is invited to participate in the training sessions offered by the organisers.
“The event is an annual occasion held to mark the anniversary of the restoration of Latvia’s independence, giving the strongest Latvians an opportunity to celebrate this holiday in an unconventional way. Taking part in “DNB Stipro skrējiens”, regardless of whether you are a participant or a supporter, is a way of showing that you are a patriot of your country. It is characterised by strength, endurance, the participants’ inexhaustible willpower, perseverance and, at the finish, great satisfaction with what has been accomplished,” reveals Gatis Dzeguze, project director of “DNB Stipro skrējiens”.
