The “Latvian Grapes 2021” Exhibition Will Take Place at Bauska Castle

On Saturday, 11 September, from 10:00 to 18:00, Latvia’s leading grape growers will display grapes grown in the courtyard of the old part of Bauska Castle.
The grape exhibition at Bauska Castle, organised in cooperation with the “Latvian Association of Viticulturists and Winemakers”, is being held for the fifth consecutive year. This year, for the first time, the exhibition will take place in the courtyard of Bauska’s Livonian Order Castle. Visitors will be able to see samples of more than 150 grape varieties grown in different parts of Latvia and expand their knowledge of grape growing through conversations with viticulturists. The exhibition will also feature grape growers from Bauska with more than 20 years of experience – Gatis Kužums, whose collection includes nearly 500 table-grape varieties, and Ģirts Miķelsons, who mainly grows wine-grape varieties.
Admission: adults – 1 euro, children – 50 cents.
