Excursion to the Janis Rozentāls and Rūdolfs Blaumanis Museum 2023
The Janis Rozentāls and Rūdolfs Blaumanis Museum (Riga, Alberta Street 12-9) invites you to attend thematic guided tours and lectures led by museum specialists this summer, dedicated to various aspects of Janis Rozentāls and Rūdolfs Blaumanis' lives and artistic creations. From June 17th to August 26th, seven tours and lectures are offered.
The excursion 'Art and Architecture Walk in the Silent Center', which will take place on July 15th at 12:00, visitors will have the opportunity to not only explore the exhibitions of J. Rozentāls and R. Blaumanis Museum, but also to take a guided walk around the museum's surroundings, discovering some of the most significant architectural and artistic treasures of the Silent Center. During the tour, you will learn how this neighborhood looked during the lifetime of Janis Rozentāls and Rūdolfs Blaumanis, and what changes it has undergone throughout history.
A total of seven thematic tours and lectures will be offered:
June 17th at 12:00 - tour at the museum 'Symbolism and Art Nouveau in J. Rozentāls and R. Blaumanis Museum exhibition'.
July 1st at 12:00 - lecture at the museum 'Janis Rozentāls' Family'.
July 15th at 12:00 - tour in the streets of Riga 'Art and Architecture Walk in the Silent Center'.
July 22nd at 16:00 - tour in the streets of Riga 'Alberta Street through the Times'.
August 5th at 16:00 - tour in the streets of Riga 'Rūdolfs Blaumanis' Residences in Riga'.
August 19th at 12:00 - tour at the museum 'Rūdolfs Blaumanis at Riga Latvian Theatre'.
September 3rd at 12:00 - lecture at the museum 'Interpretation of Janis Rozentāls' Artistic Creations in the 20th Century'.
