From now on, the Jūrmala entry permit can also be purchased in the Snabb app

As part of the ongoing expansion of access to mobility solutions in Latvia, starting in September this year, the entry permit for Jūrmala’s special-regime zone can also be purchased in the Snabb mobile app. The new payment option complements the existing digital solutions and enables residents of Latvia, as well as visitors from other Baltic countries, to pay for entry to Jūrmala even more conveniently and quickly using an app they are already familiar with.

Purchasing a Jūrmala entry permit in the Snabb app is very simple and similar to the solutions available in other mobile apps. Users need to select the “Jūrmala entry permit” zone, enter the vehicle registration number and make the payment. The price of a one-day entry permit is EUR 5, plus a service fee of EUR 0.39. Existing Snabb app users should note that the app must be updated before using the new service.

The permit can be purchased both before entering Jūrmala’s special-regime zone and after crossing into it—the key requirement is that payment be made by 23:59 on the respective day. The purchased permit allows unlimited entry to the special-regime zone until the end of the day. However, if the vehicle is still in Jūrmala’s special-regime zone after 23:59, the purchased permit remains valid until the vehicle leaves the area.
