Gulbene Municipality Library remains open to readers

To ensure that staying in the library is safe for both library staff and visitors, we ask you to observe the following:

When entering the library, you must wear a protective face mask or face shield throughout your visit.

Hand disinfection is mandatory when using the library’s services.

A distance of 2 m must be observed while in the library.

Visitors may stay in the library for no longer than 30 minutes.

Printing, scanning and laminating services are available to users only with the assistance of a librarian.

The library may be visited only individually or by members of the same household.

Books and magazines may be returned only using the book return box at the library entrance. Returned books and magazines are placed in quarantine for 72 hours before being made available to other readers.

To avoid crowding and prolonged stays in the library, we encourage you to reserve books in the electronic catalogue or by contacting a library staff member (contact information can be found HERE).

These rules remain in force until the end of the state of emergency declared in the country.

If you have not yet registered as a reader at the Gulbene Municipality Library, use this time to do so!

Write to elena.bogdanova@gulbenesbiblioteka.lv or call 64473219, providing your first name, surname, date of birth, email address and telephone number.

If, in addition to registration, you would like access to the electronic book catalogue, ask a librarian for your access details.

If you are already registered as a library reader but do not have access to the electronic book catalogue, write an email or call in this case as well.
