Recommendations for Creating a 2020 Calendar!

Two-thirds of 2019 has already passed, and the time has come when preparing for the new year, 2020, by producing greeting cards, invitations to corporate events and New Year’s parties and, of course, calendars, accounts for the greatest workload of printing houses, so that everyone can turn over a new leaf on 1 January and plan the new year, 2020, productively!

Dizains un Druka Ltd has prepared an overview of how a calendar is created, so that you can be confident in your choice when designing your own calendar! We would like to remind you that calendars can be created not only for commercial purposes, but also for personal ones—for personal use, as a gift, etc.

One of the most sought-after types of printed products is undoubtedly calendars. They are used as souvenirs, gifts, corporate accessories, advertising tools and, of course, for personal needs—at home or in the office and in many other places, depending on the calendar’s size and type.

Types of Calendars, Their Design and Printing

Tipografijas.lv, a printing house located in the very centre of Riga and offering a wide range of printing services, distinguishes the following types of calendars:

·         pocket;

·         wall;

·         desk.

There are many different variations in calendar design, but one of the most common is the triangular calendar, which you will have seen in almost every office.  Of course, even more often than pocket or triangular calendars, you will come across the classic calendar, which displays three months—the previous, current and following months—and is complemented by a decorative border featuring a design of your choice. These calendars can be varied in several ways—a calendar with one, two or even four months, complemented by the desired number of decorative borders. These calendars are spiral-bound, making them easy to adjust and change.  However, it should not be forgotten that everyone has individual preferences regarding how to present their company or which calendar will fit into their interior. Therefore, Dizains un Druka Ltd is flexible with every client, adapts to clients’ wishes and provides professional advice in order to achieve a successful result together!
