Funding competition announced for the organisation of summer camps by non-governmental organisations

The Education, Culture and Sports Department of the Riga City Council (RD ECSD) is announcing a funding competition for the organisation of summer camps. As a result, financial resources will be allocated to associations, foundations and religious organisations that work with children and young people to organise summer camps.
  
The aim of the competition is to provide financial support for the participation of associations, foundations and religious organisations in organising children’s and young people’s leisure time by arranging summer camps that are accessible to everyone and suited to their interests. During the preparation and operation of the camps, organisers must comply with the restrictions related to COVID-19 and epidemiological safety measures established in the country.

Project applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on 28 April 2021. Projects must be submitted electronically only, signed with a secure electronic signature, by sending them to iksd.sportjaun@riga.lv or by using the “Application to an institution” service available on the Latvija.lv portal. Applications submitted in person at the RD ECSD Customer Service Centre or by post will not be accepted.
